Good Morning! I think it's safe to say that cold weather is upon us here in the south and the word of the day today for UBFM is baselayer. As in I am going to have to dig out my baselayer gear for the ride tonight.
As you go through your winter clothes and put away your summer stuff, please think of us when deciding what you can and cannot wear. We need coats and socks and hats and gloves and blankets...and anything warm that you may provide. You can drop off anything you may have at my place at 3663 Autumn Ave, Memphis Tn 38122. Just leave it on the porch.
If you want to ride with us tonight we will be leaving out from the church at around 8pm. If you cant ride but want to help, Brent David will get started in the kitchen around 6 pm. We can always use the help making the burritos.
If you cant make it out tonight, please think warm thoughts for us and our friends on the streets as we work to make sure those less fortunate than us are fed and kept warm.
