8-31-16

Greetings my friends and fellow disciplists!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your week. September is practically here and I am going to welcome it. That just means we are one step closer to cooler weather. As we approach my favorite time of the year be mindful that the needs for our rides will slowly start to change. Very soon we will be in search for blankets and cold weather gear. If you want to help out with some of the cold weather needs now is a good time to start planning. Every year I place a large box in my church with a sign that says something like, “Donate cold weather gear and blankets to people in need.” This is usually effective, not only in churches, but other businesses as well.

We will meet this Wednesday night at 7:30 and ride out at 8:00 we will return around 9 -9:30. We meet at the Carpenter's House, same address as the FUMC (see below). If you would like to help prepare burritos, we will start in the kitchen of FUMC at 6:30.

We will meet on Saturday morning at 7:30am to load up and roll out at 8:00. We will return around 9:00. If you would like to help out in the kitchen we start cooking at 7:00am. The meeting location is the same as the Wednesday night ride.
