Greetings and happy Monday UBFM!

I hope you all have enjoyed a weekend full of Joy and good weather. Many of you are summing up your summer with some vacations and trips of sort. Many of you have already started school routines again. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to some great Wednesday nights with new and old friends in addition to a little change in the weather.

Several months ago I stopped adding names to the updates and posts from Wednesday night. I did this for no reason apart from the list becoming too long. I would always go through and mention the names of the people who graciously donated and the people who made each night possible. It has become difficult to do so because so many partake in making the ministry operate. The truth is, I give thanks to God everyday for the efforts you present. There are people who show up for the rides that are evident in making the organization operate. But, there are many families, groups, churches, and organizations that donate time and supplies that enable us to do this. You all know who you are and you are dear to this organization.

Last week we broke a record for the number of UBFM pedaling disciples on the street. Twenty-six riders joined in the efforts to distribute 300+ burritos, ½ case of potato chips, 5 cases of water, several boxes of crackers and granola bars, and </> 25 lbs. of beef jerky. (We still have </> 75 lbs. of jerky) The weather was beautiful and the night was perfect. Thank you all for being a great part of it and making it happen.

This week I would like to have a duplicate night of the last. With that being said we need some riders on the street and some burrito donations! If you don’t have any plans and you are interested in helping out give me a shout and/or come join us at 7:30, Wednesday. My door will be open at 6:30 for all who are in need of bike maintenance and/or just want to chill for a little whileJ. We will load up at 7:30 and roll out at 8:00. For all of you who plan on showing up, I’m excited to see you and serve with you. For those who are unable to make it I ask that you send us some thoughts and prayers for safety and guidance to the places we are needed the most. God bless you all!

Peace
