Greetings and happy Wednesday to all!

The time of the week has arrived that I'm certain you have been anticipating. Wait no longer; UBFM meeting night is here! Normally I give my assessment of the forecast in this first paragraph but the last two Wednesdays have been misguiding. Nevertheless, if I were going to guess, I would say we are looking at a warm, humid, rainless evening. Be sure to hydrate!

Last week was quite a success. An abundance of supplies and burritos were donated from some wonderful, compassionate UBFM members. Due to these donations, we delivered more burritos and bottled water than we ever have in one night. (That is, aside from that night Frank and Jeff prepared one thousand or so frozen dinners, donated by Eryin Sauer Tornabene. That was historical.) Last Wednesday was made possible because a number of people simply made burritos at their houses and brought them to us. This was marvelous and it helped us greatly. I hope to have a similar experience tonight! With that being said, if your family, church group, or business is interested in involvement but is unable to attend, make us some burritos! Give me a shout a couple of days in advance (so we don't make too many) and I will arrange a pick-up. Also, if you have any other food ideas, I would love to hear them and give it a try.

Every week, upon returning from our ride, we share stories and fellowship. This is my favorite part of Wednesday night because I hear firsthand accounts of God's work. Some of them are sad, some funny, but most of them are food for the spirit (food ministry ;-)). If you are riding with us tonight and you have a good experience, let's share it. Email it to me: tommy@ubfm.org. I will post our blog for the world to read.

If you are joining us tonight, I can't wait to see you and work with you in the community. If you are unable to join I ask that you send us some thoughts, prayers, and blessings. Pray that our lights will shine toward safety but also toward the places where we are needed the most. Pray that our love be noticeable between one another and to our brothers and sisters whom we serve.

Peace
