If you haven't heard, there is a newspaper circulating on the streets called The Bridge. It was created this year by a group of students from Rhodes College. This month there is a great article on UBFM.

What is The Bridge?
The Bridge is the street newspaper in Memphis, TN. We publish a monthly, printed newspaper with content written by and about people experiencing homelessness. Next, we certify currently or formerly homeless people as vendors and sell them the newspaper at a marginal cost. They then sell the paper in the Memphis community for $1 and keep all the profit.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between homeless and sheltered while drawing attention to the Memphis homeless community and beyond.
